So, I have taken quite a long hiatus from doing this whole photo blog thing, which I really rather regret. I sort of got lazy with Facebook. While Facebook offers the ease of use of posting a large number of photos at once, it lacks in offering a medium where you can put up a photo and tell a story about it. I figured that the best subject to use to jump back into posting would be the boys, since they are by far my most favorite subjects.
These first four pictures were taken at Raven Rock State Park near Lillington, NC. I really like to go hiking there with the family and it makes a very nice backdrop for pictures. This particular day was quite chilly and we didn't stay long; I was lucky to get any shots at all.
These next three were taken at the NC Veterans' Park in Fayetteville, NC. Micah especially likes to go there because of the fountains.
I believe that Micah was trying to comfort his brother after a minor fall from the retaining wall.
